On November 8, 1999, Philipp posted an announcement to an a capella newsgroup proposing a joint project. Christoph, who was singing with the Hamburg choir Vocal Express, responded and recruited Michel and two female singers. Soon the first arrangements were written and the band had their first gig.
While the male singers have been together since the beginning nearly ten years ago, the female voices have been reshuffled a few times. The current band (Tini Peeck, Marzia Plichta, Christoph Drösser, Michael Kistenmacher, Philip Mott) has been together since the summer of 2006.
